January 13, 1922 -- July 22, 2005

Aileen Miller, 83, of Webster City, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at Crestview Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center, Webster City, with Pastor Gerald Caquelin officiating. Burial will be in Cass Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Aileen Frances Miller, daughter of Edward and Irene Weir Miller was born January 13, 1922 at Webster City. She attended Cass Township #9 Rural School and graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City. She also graduated from Iowa State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls. She had taught for many years in rural schools in Hamilton County, as well as Ledyard, Woolstock, Clarion, Blairsburg and Waterloo.

Aileen is survived by her sister, Ruby Hoyer of Apache Junction, AZ; nieces, Vera Gelder of Columbia, MO., Melva Faulkner of Chandler, AZ., Elaine Hill of Phoenix, AZ.; nephew, Vern Hoyer of Miles City, Montana and cousin, Gerald Caquelin of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Daisy Miller in infancy and Margaret Miller and brother, Lowell Miller in infancy. Miss Miller was a member of the Congregational U.C.C. Church.
