Mrs. Hawbaker, known to everyone in the community as Sadie, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, Feb. 20 at her home in Dallas Center, [Iowa] after a year and a half illness.

Sadie Agnes Hawbaker, daughter of Emmanuel and Mary Robinson, was born in Corwith, Iowa on July 22, 1889. She entered into rest on Feb. 2, 1962, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage with Noah Hawbaker on Sept. 14, 1910 at their country home southwest of Grimes. Those who are left to mourn her passing are her devoted husband, Noah; her four children, Mrs. Kenneth Bohrofen of Dallas Center, Iowa; Glenn Hawbaker of Yale, Iowa; Virgil Hawbaker of Dallas Center, Iowa; and Jerry Hawbaker of Inglewood, California; eleven grandchildren; two great She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and two brothers, George and Earl Lee.
