ROCKFORD, IL - Julie Dea Hauge Dieterman, 50, of Rockford died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born July 24, 1953, in Fort Bragg, N.C., to Bobbie and Karen Hain Hauge. At a young age Julie moved with her family to Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she graduated with the Class of 1971. She was very involved in the Midtown Group, where she was a sponsor, was once sponsored herself, and was a friend and role model to many others who attended. Survivors include her daughter, Meghann Emma Kincaide of Rockford; mother, Karen (Edwin) Hauge Franzmeier of Albert City, Iowa; sister, Rhonda Hauge of Fort Dodge; brother, Brent (Elizabeth) Hauge of Graettinger, Iowa, and their children, Tyler, Jaecy and Kailee; fiance, Arthur "Artie" Lawrence of Rockford; and a host of extended family. Predeceased by her father.
Memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, in Honquest Family Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 4205 N. Mulford Road, with the Rev. Dr. William Richard Kerr Sr. officiating. Inurnment in Corwith (Iowa) Cemetery. Visitation from 6:30 p.m. to service time Monday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a fund to be established.
