CORWITH, Iowa - Graveside services for Farabelle M. Greenfield, 94, of Corwith and formerly of Greenville, Miss., a homemaker, will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in Corwith Cemetery, Corwith. She died Oct. 24, 2005, at a health center in Delray Beach, Fla. Burial will be under the direction of Oak Crest Funeral Home, Algona, Iowa.

Born in Corwith on January 16, 1911, Farabelle was the daughter of Charles H. and Lyda A. Martin and grew up in Corwith, graduating from high school there in 1928. Shortly after completing business school in Des Moines, she married James T. Greenfield and became a homemaker. They made Louisiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Minnesota their homes, settling in Greenville, Miss., in 1960 where she enjoyed playing golf and bridge and was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Greenville Country Club. Approximately five years following her husband's death in 1993, she relocated to a retirement community in Delray Beach, Fla., in order to be closer to her daughter. She died in the health center there on Oct. 24, 2005, at the age of 94. Farabelle is survived by her daughter, Sandra K. Rodabaugh of Boca Raton, Florida; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
