Kenneth L. Henry, age 54

Kenneth Henry, born August 3, 1956 in Clarion, Iowa, passed away at home on August 16, 2010 due to complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Kenny (Hank) moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1986. Six months later he met his future wife and married on June 10, 1989. Kenny will be remembered for his kind, gentle, shy, funny, and generous spirit. Kenny loved making his friends and family laugh. Kenny was from a small town and never lost his sense of community, helping anyone in need. Kenny never spoke a negative word about anyone, always gave you the benefit of the doubt and loved unconditionally. Kenny is survived by his wife of 21 years, Georgia, sister Marti, sister-in-law and father-in-law Nina Goddard and George Hudson and extended family of same. His greatest legacy is his vast number of loyal friends especially Whip, his best friend since the age of three, and Jim, Dick, Paul, Randy and so many more, too many to name, you know who you are! We love you and will forever. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the YATES FUNERAL HOME, Hayden Chapel. A reception will follow the service at the Yates Hayden Gathering Center.

Ken Henry (also known as Hank) born August 3, 1956, in Clarion, passed away at home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho August 6, 2010 due to complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Ken (Hank) was a graduate of Clarion High School in 1974 and moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1986. Six months later he met his future wife and married on June 10, 1989. Ken was a truly gentle soul, who loved to make his family and friends laugh.

Ken is survived by his wife of 21 years, Georgia, a sister Martha (Marti) of Colorado, sister-in-law and father-in-law Nina Goddard and George Hudson both of Coeur d' Alene, as well as two nephews and their families.

His greatest legacy is his vast number of loyal friends who he grew up with and remained close to throughout his life, Whip (Jan) Anderson, Jim Mueller, Randy & Curt Smith, Scott Radechel and Lee Johnson, as well as too many others to mention, but you know who you are.

There was a "Celebration of his Life" on Saturday August 21, 2010 at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel (Idaho) with over 80 attendees.
