CORWITH, IA -- Nicholas J. Pooge, infant son of Jay and Daphne Pooge of Corwith, was stillborn Monday (July 1, 1996) at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Kanawha Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Caroline Engelbrecht officiating. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ewing Funeral Home, Kanawha, and one hour prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his parents, Jay and Daphne Pooge of Corwith; two sisters, Ashley and Lindsey, at home; maternal grandparents, Roy and Diane Omvig of Kanawha; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Pooge of Kanawha; maternal great-grandparents, Esther Walk of Kanawha and John Omvig of Kanawha; and paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Jennie Arends of Kanawha. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather and maternal great-grandmother.
