LATIMER, IA --- Lynn M. F. Witte, 59, of Latimer died Sept. 15, 2002, at his home. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Rev. Marlys Ruth will officiate.

Lynn was born March 24, 1943, at Hampton to Martin and Frances Myers Witte. He attended Franklin County Consolidated Schools. On Dec. 31, 1966, he married Sheila Lee in Hampton. Lynn worked as a mechanic for Seabee's. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Christ and enjoyed bowling and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; two sons, Brian and fiancee Jayne Morgan of Hampton and Bart and wife Rebecca of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Eslene Olsen and husband Dan of Ramona, Calif., and Beth Frenchick and husband Phillip of Latimer; a sister, Carol Schroeder and husband John of Klemme; a granddaughter, Megan Witte; and step granddaughter, Leanne Olsen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton is in charge of arrangements.
