BELMOND — Stewart E. Eckhoff, 70, of Belmond, died Tuesday (Feb. 3, 1998) at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Belmond, with the Rev. Ken Fineran officiating. Burial will be in the Bel mond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Stewart E. Eckhoff was born April 9, 1927, north of Meservey. Survivors include his wife, Connie, of Belmond; two sons, Larry Eckhoff and Robert Eckhoff, both of Belmond; four grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Eckhoff, Belmond. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son.
