CLARION — Clair O. Meyer, 69, died Saturday (Oct. 10, 1998) at his home in Climax Springs, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the Rev. Mark Young of the Church of Christ and the Rev. Wayne Droessler of St. John's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Clair Orlue Meyer was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Webster City. Survivors include his wife, Lorine; a daughter, Juli A. St. Clair of Marshalltown; a son, Bernard M. Meyer of Estherville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Virgil Meyer of Galt and Sterling Meyer of Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and an infant daughter.
