May 4, 1868 -- June 26, 1958

Jennie D. Pearl Johnson was born May 4, 1868 in Iowa. She was married to Albert H. Fox Aug 25, 1886. On Dec 22, 1898 the Foxes and family arrived in Davenport, WA from Clarion, Iowa. In the spring of 1899 they moved to Harrington. Mr. Fox passed away March 24, 1905 and is buried in Hillcrest. Mrs. Fox remained here for many years. Later in life she was married to Mr. Johnson, who preceded her in death. The past nine years she made her home with her daughters, Mrs. Ellen Brennar of Tacoma and Mrs. Verna Crask of Eatonville. Mrs. Johnson was the oldest of 15 children in her family. Word of the death of a brother in the east came to her recently. Within a few days she suffered a stroke which was the cause of her death on June 26, 1958. Survivors include her children Raymon Fox of Cheney; Mrs. Ellen Brennar; Mrs. Etha Metzger, Spokane; Warren R. Fox, Sprague; and Mrs. Verna Crask; 4 sisters, Mrs. Clarkston Riker of Iowa; Mrs. Edward Lister, MO; Mrs. Ernest Catron, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. William Jones, OK; 2 brothers, George Pearl, CA; and Charley Pearl of Oklahoma City. Interment was in Hillcrest.
