Jeanette M. Steffa, 84, of St. David, Arizona, died on Sunday, June 17, 2001, at the Quiburi Mission Samaritan Center in Benson, Arizona. She was formerly of Humboldt. Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 20, at the Richardon's Remembrance Center in Benson, Arizona. The Rev. Carl Dittemore of the First Baptist Church of St. David, Arizona, officiated at the service.

Jeanette Margaret Davids, was born on March 2, 1917, to Harm and Margaret Davids of German Township, Grundy Center. She was married to Clarence Steffa in September of 1937 in Hampton. They resided in Humboldt until 1979, when they moved to St. David, Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; her children, Donald of Phoenix, Arizona, Raymond and Kathy of Salida, Colorado, Janet Santigati of Phoenix, Arizona, Lois Ann of St. David Arizona, Sharon and David Vestweber of Clear Lake and Gary and Tammy of Glendale, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Davids of Lakewood Colorado; three sisters, Billie and Harold Culver of Sheffield, Gladys Floy of Thornton and Doris and Ken Ashland of Spirit Lake; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister; niece; nephew; and a brother.
