They moved, when she was a young child, to a farm east of Tracy, that became known as Cloverdale. Edna attended public schools and graduated from Tracy High School in 1929 and completed a year of normal training in Tracy before starting her teaching career in country schools in Murray and Lyon counties. She was married to Lester E. Robinson on June 25, 1940 in the Tracy Presbyterian Church and they moved to the George Robinson family farm in Custer Township where they farmed until 1964. Edna was a faithful member of the Garvin Congregational Church and an active member of the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Delta Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and one of its Past Worthy matrons. An avid gardener she had been a member of the Tracy Garden Club and when her daughters were young she served as a Girl Scout Leader. Her daughters will remember her as a “great” mother.
