Ada, OK - Funeral Services for Clayton Lee Edens, 21, Ada, will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada. Officiating will be Rev. John Mayhue. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Mr. Edens died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at his residence in Ada. He was born Feb. 16, 1989 in Urbana, Ill. to Larry and Mary Jo Yuza Edens. Mr. Edens attended several schools throughout his childhood including Crestwood School and St. Mary's Catholic School in Paris, Ill. He also attended Vanoss Public Schools and he later would attend Belmond - Klemme High School in Belmond, Iowa. He was employed at GHB Farms, Inc. in Lula, and attended the Cornerstone Christian Church.

Mr. Edens is survived by his parents: Larry and Mary Jo Edens of the home; two brothers: Logan Edens of Moore and Cullen Edens of the home; one sister: Laramie Edens of the home; maternal grandmother: Mary Yuza of Paris, Ill.; and many cousins, aunts and uncles Joe Yuza Jr. and his wife Beth of Wichita, Kan., John Yuza of Paris, Ill.; and first cousins Joe Yuza and his wife Kara of Wichita, Kan., Steve Yuza of Chanute, Kan., Mike Yuza and his wife Jennifer, Wichita, Kan. and Jennifer Yuza of Bradenton, Fla. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Carroll and Louise Edens and maternal grandfather: Joseph J. Yuza Sr. Bearers will be Joseph J. Yuza III, Steve Yuza, and Michael Yuza. The family will welcome friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Smith-Phillips Funeral Home, Ada, Oklahoma.
