Services Held for Mrs. Fred A. Arnold

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred A. Arnold, 78, were held at two o'clock Monday afternoon, December 24th from the Klemme Methodist Church with Rev Melvin Miller in charge. Interment was in Ell Township Cemetery at Klemme and Mrs Arnold was carried to her final resting place by Asa Gibbs, Ronald Gibbs, Donald Gibbs, Virgil Bridgeford, Roy Arnold and Wilbur Arnold. Osman Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Fred A. Arnold, age 78, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 21, at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, following a brief illness. She [Clarice] was the daughter of the late Asa and Isabelle Gibbs. She was born in Delhi, Ohio, on September 15, 1878, the third of seven children. At the age of two, she moved with her family, to the Klemme community, where she resided until her death.
On November 26, 1902, she was united in marriage to Fred A. Arnold of Klemme. To this union were born two sons, Fred J., and Asa R. Mrs, Arnold leaves to mourn her passing, her two sons, six grandchildren, a sister, Miss Anna Gibbs and a brother, Harry Gibbs, all of Klemme. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred, who died on January 16, 1950, Mrs. Arnold was a life-time member of the Methodist Church.
