MASON CITY, IA - Robin L. Clem, 42, of 202 Thirteenth St. N.E., died Sunday (June 3, 2001) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa. The funeral and visitation were held Tuesday (June 5, 2001) at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Alan Sheldon of the Church of Christ officiating. Those wishing to express their sympathy may direct memorials to the Robin Clem Memorial Fund.

On Feb. 3, 1959, Robin was born to Charles and Lorraine (Jones) Arhart. After receiving her GED, she continued her education and graduated as a LPN. For the next several years, she worked in the Klemme Care Center as a LPN. On Oct. 30, 1987, Robin Arhart was united in marriage to Richard Ray Clem. They made their home in Mason City. Robin enjoyed cooking her favorite dishes for family and church functions. Her favorite recipes were lasagna and taco lasagna. If she wasn't cooking, she could be found watching "Judge Judy" or taking care of her parakeets, parrots and lovebirds. Garage sales were an activity that Robin and friend Lila Paulsen did together.

Those who will treasure her memories are her husband, Richard Ray Clem, of Mason City; two children, Bridget and William Clem; three sisters, Sarah Lilly of Bossier, La., Rhonda Feeney of Lubbock, Texas, and Eleanaor Bubblitz of Austin, Minn.; mother, Lorraine Arhart, of Bossier City, La.; two brothers, Charles Arhart of Bossier City, La., and Fred Arhart of Washington State; a grandmother, Mary Shreckengost; a very close friend and caretaker, Lila Paulsen, of Mason City; and many friends, nieces and nephews. Robin was preceded in death by her father, Charles, and one grandmother.
