Adeline M. Peck, 65, of Ventura, died on Thursday, July 18, 2002, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 22, at the Ventura United Methodist Church. The Rev. Audrey Westendorf-Young officiated. Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. The Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake was in charge of the arrangements. Adeline was born on January 15, 1937 in Klemme, the daughter of Edwin S. and Doris L. (Haginger) Medaus. She attended Klemme Public Schools. She married Wilbur "Duane" Peck on May 1, 1954 in Crystal Lake. The couple lived in Forest City, where Mrs. Peck worked at Winnebago Industries for over 17 years. After retiring in 1983, they moved to Ventura and enjoyed living near the lake.

VENTURA - Adeline M. Peck, 65, of 102 E. Lake St., died Thursday (July 18, 2002) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Ventura United Methodist Church, 10 S. Weimer St., with the Rev. Audrey Westendorf-Young officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St. in Clear Lake, and also for one hour before services at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Ventura United Methodist Church.

Adeline was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Klemme, the daughter of Edwin S. and Doris L. (Haginger) Medaus. She attended Klemme public schools before her marriage to Wilbur "Duane" Peck on May 1, 1954, in Crystal Lake. The couple lived in Forest City, where Adeline worked at Winnebago Industries for more than 17 years. After retiring in 1983, they moved to Ventura and enjoyed living near the lake. Adeline enjoyed traveling and visiting family in Las Vegas and Flagstaff, Ariz.
Her hobbies included spending time outdoors gardening and bird watching. Adeline touched the life of everyone she came in contact with and especially loved taking care of and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ventura United Methodist Church.

Adeline is survived by her husband, Duane, of Ventura; two sons, Randy Peck and his wife, Diane, of Las Vegas, and Curtis Peck and his friend, Becca Yates, of Clear Lake; one daughter, Twila Formanek, of Flagstaff, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Ryan Peck and Shane Peck and his wife, Ashley, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and Nicole, Nathan, and Natalie Formanek, all of Flagstaff, Ariz., five sisters-in-law, Evelyn Brower, of Mason City, Bernelle Lewerke and her husband, Jake, of Clarion, Gladys Waldschmidt, of Chico, Calif., Darlene Schmidt and her husband, Darl, of Garner, and Sharon Garrett, of Charleston, S.C.; and two brothers-in-law, Donald Peck, of Zearing and Willard Peck, of Britt. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, three sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
