Step-father of Bee Bateson of Belmond

Carl Thetis Satterlee passed away October 7, 2000 at the Excelsior Springs, Missouri Medical Center Hospital after an extended illness. Memorial Services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs, on Thursday, October 19, 2000. Burial Services will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery. Carl Satterlee was born January 25, 1908, in Webb City, MO where he graduated from high school. He attended college in Columbia, MO. He moved to Excelsior Springs in 1930 and was employed by the Standard Publishing Company until he retired in January of 1971. Carl married Beatrice B. Albertson on May 5, 1951, at the First Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs. He served two years in the United States Navy during World War II as a torpedo technician. Carl was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice in 1978, his parents, his brother, Howard L. Satterlee, and his step-daughter Christina Jean (Albertson) Endicott and her husband Robert Endicott. Survivors include his stepdaughter Doris Bee (Albertson) Bateson and husband Owen E. Bateson of Belmond, five step-grandchildren, ten step great-grandchildren; seven step great-great grandchildren and one cousin.
