SMITH DENTON DIES SUDDENLY

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Foster Funeral home for Smith Denton, 75, former resident of Webster City, who died Wednesday morning at Willmar, Minn. The body will arrive here Saturday night. The Rev. Dow Crewdson will officiate at the services and burial will be made in the Cass Center cemetery. Mr. Denton leaves his wife, four sons and two daughters: Leslie, of Bancroft, Minn, Jerome, Truman and Vern, of Willmar, Mrs. Iva Shell and Mrs. Bessie Groundes, of Bancroft, Mrs. Denton is a sister of Oscar Kepler of this city. One daughter preceded him in death. Mr. Denton was a member of the Church of Christ here.
