June 25, 2009Ma Punkham, 51, of Webster City, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cass Township Cemetery, north of Webster City, with Pastor Kham Phiwtong officiating. Visitation will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church from 12 - 2 p.m. Saturday. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.

August 10, 1957 - June 22, 2009Ma Punkham, 51, of Webster City, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Cass Township Cemetery north of Webster City, with Pastor Kham Phiwtong officiating. Visitation will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
Ma Punkham, son of Khao and Meuy Punkham Punkham, was born August 10, 1957 at Nalaung, Saibury, Lao. He received his education in Lao. In the spring of 1982, he married Vahn Buakham in Thailand. In 1988, they moved to the U.S.A. locating at Santa Rosa, CA. They had also resided at Marced, CA, Modesto, CA and Stockton, CA. In 1996, they moved to St. Paul and in 1997 moved to Webster City. He had been employed at Mertz Engineering, Arrow-Acme, Heller Carbonic and Electrolux.
Ma is survived by his wife, Vahn, sons and daughters, Dao (To) Punkham; Chan (Master) Punkham; Jo (Sengmany) Punkham; John Punkham; all of Webster City; grandchildren, Andaline, Adrinna, Anthony and Addison Punkham; brothers, Phang Punkham of Fairfield, CA; Sa Punkham of Lao; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. He had been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 1999.
