Harold A. Wilfong of Deer Park, New York on June 15, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Joan. Dear father of Dean (Jerry) Wilfong of Sierra Vista, AZ, Joy (Sid) Homesley of Woodward, IA, Deborah Brown of Arvada, CO, and Randy (Kadrin) Wilfong of Deer Park, NY. Cherished grandfather of Jason Homesley and Andrew Wilfong. Devoted brother of June Cornelius of Des Moines, IA and Mary Kathryn (Morris) Towne of Jamaica, IA, and the late Ira (Lois) Cornelius of Fullerton, CA, Finley (Pinkie) Wilfong of Stowe, ME, and Irene (Vincent) Metheny of Eagle Grove, IA. Born on March 12, 1924 in Perry, Iowa. Two term veteran of the US Marine Corps of WWII, Pacific Theatre. Enjoyed traveling, fishing, biking, baseball and music. We will miss and love you forever! Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, Deer Park, NY. Cremation private. Memorial to follow at a later date.
