October 29, 1928Kirk Brewer Dies After a Short Illness
A. J. Brewer received word this morning of the death of his nephew, Kirk Brewer, at Cloquet, Minn., last night. He had been ill only a short time following a paralytic stroke. His mother, Mrs. Emogene Brewer, of this city, and his two brothers, Glen of Fort Dodge, and Donald of Mason City, went to Minnesota last week, called by his illness. His wife and two children also survive. The body will probably be brought here for burial.
