Charles Harvey Sisson was born on March 28, 1856 and passed away at the home of his son in Pine Bluffs, WY., December 13, 1930 aged 74 years, 8 months and 16 days. He moved to Benton county, Iowa with his parents while still a small child. On Feb 19, 1879 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Sarah Katherine Spinden, and to this union were born three children, George H. of Pine Bluffs, William Ray, of Newcastle, CO, and Mable Probst, of Belmond, IA. Mrs Sisson passed away a little more than 4 years ago. He moved to Galt, Iowa, from Benton county in 1903, where he made his home until 1926, when he came to Pine Bluffs, WY, to live with his son, George Harvey Sisson. He leaves to mourn his passing three children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Mable Probst of Belmond, IA, did not arrive her in time to attend the funeral on account of not receiving word in time to make train connections. On account of Rev. Stevens being out of town, Reverend J. H. Wilcox of Kimball had charge of the services.
