CLARION, IA -- Floyd E. Robie, 85, of Clarion, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 1996) at the Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the United Presbyterian Church, Clarion, with the Rev. Margaret Desmond of Ames officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Floyd E. Robie was born Jan. 27, 1911, in Blairsburg. Survivors include his wife, Lorene of Clarion; three daughters, Beth Wunder of Ames, and Mary Kallem and Jo Anne Olson, both of Clarion; 11 grandchildren; and one brother Millard Robie of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
