Linda Lea Lerdal Manasco, 54, of 2304 2nd Ave. S.W., a retired department manager, died of lung cancer Sunday at her home. Cremation will take place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home. Her memorial service is 10 a.m. Thursday at O'Connor Memorial Chapel, with burial of ashes in Highland Cemetery.

Survivors include her father, Kenneth Lerdal of Harlingen, Texas; daughter Jennifer Manasco of Great Falls; sisters Janet Nellist of Fort Worth, Texas, and Judy Lerdal of Arlington, Texas; and brothers Roger, Terry and Mike Lerdal, all of Thornton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Manasco, in 2002.

Linda was born Aug. 12, 1955, in Clarion, Iowa, and was raised in Belmond, Iowa. She married Glenn Manasco in 1986 in Dallas, Texas. He died March 21, 2002. Linda worked for the past two years with Subway as a sandwich artist. She worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years prior as a department manager. Linda loved her family, football and puzzles.
