Chenoa, Illinois --Stephen Bauman, 86, died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday at his home where he had been bedfast a year. His funeral will be at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic church, the Rev. Father Frances Kura officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Eagle Grove, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pils Memorial Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Steve Bauman To Be Buried Here
Steve Bauman died at his home in Chenoa, Ill., Tuesday morning. Mr. Bauman, a former Eagle Grove resident, is survived by three daughters and four sons including Joe Bauman of Clarion. Funeral services will be Thursday in Chenoa, and the body will be brought here for burial. The rosary will be recited this (Thursday) evening at the Kastler Funeral Home at 8 o'clock and graveside services will be Friday morning at 9:30 at Calvary cemetery. The Bauman family resided near Eagle Grove for many years and farmed where the Justin Thebiay family now resides. He was the grandfather of Arvid Bauman of this city.
