Elizabeth Richards Dies Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif.

Word has been received here of the death of Miss Elizabeth Richards, 93, who died Saturday at a hospital in Los Angeles, Calif., where she had been taken several months ago following a fractured hip. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Richards, an early pioneer family of the Webster City and Clarion communities. The Richards family came to Iowa from Wisconsin and the Richards farm home was 4 miles east and 2 south of Clarion in Lincoln township. Surviving is one sister, Miss Lydia Richards of Azusa, Calif,, who is the last survivor of 13 children Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Among them are Mrs. Jay Lewis and Mrs. C. M. Larson of Clarion and George Richards of Ft. Dodge. Miss Richards was a teacher In the Indian schools in Arizona for many years. She then, went to Mazatlan, Mexico, where she was a missionary teacher.
