Dr. Leo J. Kubitschek, 74, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1981, at his home in Fairway, Kansas. He was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1936. Dr. Kubitschek graduated from Creighton University at Omaha, Neb. in 1928. He practiced dentistry in the Kansas City area from 1936 until 1941. He was a major in the Army Medical Corps from 1941 to 1946 returning to practice in the Kansas City area from 1946 until retiring in 1971. He was a dentist at the Osawatomie State Hospital for eight years. He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church. He was also a member of the American Dental Association, the Tri-State Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and the Wyandotte County Dental Association.

His wife, Mrs. Rose B. Kubitschek, of the home, and a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Skaggs of Battle Creek, Mich., survive. Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kansas Ciity. Graveside services were at noon at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Paola. The rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the McGilley Midtown Chapel.
