Howard John DuFlo, 70, died March 31, 2010 following a short illness. He was born July 3, 1939. Howard worked for Eaton Corporation for 29 years -- 18 in Battle Creek, MI and 11 in Belmond where he was the aircraft department foreman. Howard and his wife, Joyce, lived in Meservey for 11 years. He helped his wife operate the Meservey Cafe from July 1987 to July 1988. They retired in 1994 to Florida and then Mississippi. John enjoyed playing drums, fishing, hunting, boxing and football. Survivors include his wife of 1070 Sauger Drive, Tunica, MS; son Lloyd Torrance of Bellevue MI; and sister Carolyn Rice of Union City, MI.
