Services For Simpson Stout Wednesday

Funeral services for Simpson Frank Stout of Rowan were held this Wednesday at the Rowan Methodist church. Simpson Frank Stout, son of James and Clara Stout, was born October 20, 1875 on a farm one half mile north of Rowan and has lived all his life in this community. In 1896 he moved to the farm where he has lived ever since, a period of seventy one years. In 1897 he married Laura Watters who passed away in 1928. In 1937 he married Celia Wickman of Goldfield who is left to mourn his passing. He also leaves two dearly loved stepchildren, Elizabeth, Mrs. Jack Row of Clarion and Boyd Wickman of West Des Moines. There are seven grandchildren: Jack, Valerie, Jeffrey and Barbara Jane Row, and Bill, Jeanne and Mary Kay Wickman. Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. He passed away at the Community Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 2, 1967 following a short illness.
