Services Tuesday For Henry Hilpipre

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock for Henry J. Hilpipre, 68, of Woolstock. Services were at the Methodist Church there with the Rev. Leon Wallace officiating, burial was at the French cemetery near Woolstock. Mr. Hilpipre died Saturday afternoon, March 9 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was a lifetime resident of this area and farmed for many years. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Hanson; two daughters, Mrs. Merle Mayes of Woolstock and Mrs. Gary Moser of Blairsburg; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are 11 brothers and sisters. They are Leo Hilpipre, Mrs. Ida Mourlam, Mrs. Lydia Claude and Mrs. Mary Kastler, all of Woolstock; Charles Hilpipre, Mrs. Rosie Smith, Mrs. Josie Brandt and Mrs. Ada Brandt, all of Webster City; Ed Hilpipre of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Florence Rink and Mrs. Delia Rohrer of Clarion.
