Funeral services for Clifford E. Neal, 72, of 1018 Tenth avenue were held Saturday morning at the Adamson Memorial chapel. Interment followed at Linn Grove. Neal died Wednesday at Weld County General hospital. He was born May 8, 1883 at Bristow, Iowa. Neal lived there until his marriage. He then moved to Belmond, Iowa and in 1915 to Mason City, Iowa. Neal lived there until moving to Greeley in 1919. He was a barber and one of the organizers of the local barber union. He was an active member of the union. Neal also belong to the Bristow Christian church and was a past member of the Knights of Pythias of Greeley.
His wife, Mrs. Salenia Neal, died seven years ago. Surviving are two son, Dorrance of Greeley and Donald in California; a daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Gernandt of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, E. Lee Neal of St. Louis, Mo., and Bennett C. Neal of Mason City, Iowa; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
