Services for Mrs. Anna Marie Forbes, 74, Eagle Grove, were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church here [Eagle Grove], with burial in Calvary Cemetery [Eagle Grove]. She was a sister of Mrs. Otto Behrens of Carroll. Mrs. Forbes died Nov. 13 at Mercy Hospital, Fort Dodge, where she had undergone surgery a few days before. Surviving are six children: William and Richard, Eagle Grove; Dr. John Forbes, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Donald Winge and Mrs. Richard Parent, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Jerry Ridgeway, Ankeny; 12 grandchildren and two sisters, Agatha Klocke of Webster City, and Mrs. Behrens. Her husband, William, died in 1953.

Mrs. Anna Forbes Funeral Monday In Sacred Heart Church

Mrs. Anna Marie Forbes, 74, died early Friday morning in Mercy hospital, Ft, Dodge. She had surgery a few days previously. Mrs. Forbes is survived by three sons and three daughters, William and Richard of Eagle Grove, Dr. John Forbes of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Donald Winge and Mrs. Richard Parent of Long Beach, Calif, and Mrs. Jerry Ridgeway of Ankeny. She is also survived by two sisters, Miss Agatha Klocke of Webster City, Mrs. Otto Behrens of Carroll and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning in Sacred Heart church in charge of Rev. Francis Phelan. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. The Forbes family resides at 614 East Broadway. Mrs. Forbes was preceded in death by her husband William who died in 1953.
