DAWSON, Minnesota - Martin Carl Anderson 101, of Dawson died Tuesday at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson with the Rev. Kendall Stelter officiating. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson and one hour prior to the service at the church. He was born Feb. 2, 1899, in Thor, Iowa, to Knut and Christine (Pederson) Anderson. He moved to the Dawson area with his family at the age of 14. He married Audrey Lemke on July 1, 1956, in rural Echo. They lived in Dawson after retiring from farming in 1950. Survivors include his wife and son Mark of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by six brothers, one in infancy, three sisters and a foster brother.
