Clyde A. Dishman, 57, of Webster City, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at his home. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Clyde Alvin Dishman, son of Claude and Joy Anders Dishman was born on March 23, 1952 in Webster City. He received his education from the Webster City Community Schools. Following his education, Clyde worked as a body mechanic in Dows. His main vocation was as a security guard officer in charge for SRP Utilities in Phoenix, AZ. He had worked at SRP for over 13 years until he retired due to his failing health. He moved back to Webster City in April of 2008.

Survivors include his daughters, Christine Dishman of Missouri, and Misty (David) Sharkey of Rozet, WY; two grandsons; his mother, Joy Ubben; brothers, Richard Dishman, and Donald Adams, Jr. all of Webster City; sisters, Donna (Dennis) Roosa of Webster City, Jackie (Mike) Rayna of Dows, Jodie and Jolene Dishman both of Kansas City, KS; and stepmother, JoAnn Dishman also of Kansas City, KS. Clyde is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude J. Dishman.
