Richard Monday at Altoona Manor Care Center. Services will be at graveside at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Lamm was born in Eagle Grove and lived in Des Moines most of his life, retiring from The Des Moines Register.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; a son, Jeffery of Des Moines; three daughters, Judith Ann Quinn of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jackie Welch and Jane Carol Dennis, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Wanda Rose and Patty Miles, both of Denver, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton's Funeral Home.
