Danny Curtis Gross, the son of Danny Lee and Jaunita Malene (Elliott) Gross, was born July 11, 1968, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove. Danny served in the Army National Guard - Eagle Grove. Danny also lived in Webster City and recently moved to Laurens. He worked for Mertz Engineering, Electrolux Products, B & E Construction, IBP-Tyson and was currently employed by Pro-Coop in Havelock. Danny passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, at the age of 41 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Jaunita Gross; brother, Patrick Lee Gross; grandparents and great-nephew, Caleb. Survivors include his children: Brittany, Adrian and Jessie Gross of Goldfield and Aleigha Gross of Thompson; brothers, Tim Gross and wife Freda of Mason City and Richard Gross of Eagle Grove; sisters, Lucinda Atchison and husband Dale and Kathleen Daniels and husband Chris all of Eagle Grove; granddaughter, Dahlia Gross-Williams and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Chris Lang officiating. Burial will be in Hazel Green Cemetery in rural Ackley, Iowa.
