Mrs. Anna Bachman passed away Tuesday night in Colonial Acres Rest home, Rock Falls, after an extended illness. Born Jan. 21, 1890 in Hancock County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Chris and Martha Anderson Hanson. She was a member of the United Brethren Church at Goodell, Iowa. Her husband, John M. Bachman preceded in Nov. 1945. Surviving are three sons, Elmer C. Bachman of Klemme, Iowa, John G. Bachman of Des Moines, Iowa and Walter E. Bachman of Sterling; three daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Vera) Osborne of Rock Falls, Mrs. Thomas (Madeline) Dalab of La Crecente, California, Mrs. Kenneth (Gladys) Reynolds of Sterling, and one brother, Alfred Hanson of Neva, Iowa. There are 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded by one son, one brother and four sisters.

The body was moved to the Melvin Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 this evening (Wednesday). Thursday morning the body will be taken overland to the Johnson Funeral Home at Klemme, Iowa for visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the United Methodist Church at Klemme, the Rev. Byron Surface, pastor of the United Methodist Church at Ventura and Goodell, Iowa, will officiate. Burial will take place in the Amsterdam Cemetery at Goodell, Iowa.
