FUNERAL HELD AT KANAWHA

Mrs. Nick Veldhouse Stricken Last Week by Cerebral Hemorrhage

KANAWHA — Funeral services were held for Mrs. Nick P. Veldhouse Monday afternoon at the Christian Reformed church with the Rev. D. H. Plesscher officiating. Mrs. Veldhouse was taken suddenly ill at her home Thursday morning and was taken to a Fort Dodge hospital where she died Friday morning from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was 28.

Mrs. Veldhouse was born March 5, 1912, on a farm four miles west and one and one-half miles south of Kanawha . Later she moved with her parents to their home in Kanawha. On Aug. 10, J933, the was married to Nick Veldhouse and since that time they have made their home on a farm south of Kanawha.

Surviving are her husband and three small children, Shirley Mae, Vernon Lee and Beverly Jean, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George B. Abbas, two brothers, Bernard and George and four sisters, Mrs. John Smidt, Mrs. Ole Smidt, Mrs. Henry Smidt, and Florence Abbas, all of Kanawha. Interment was made in the Kanawha cemetery.
