PEARBLOSSOM, Calif. - Leroy "Sandy" Jackson, 63, of Pearblossom, Calif., passed away Dec. 4, 2009, at Lancaster Hospital in Lancaster, Calif. Sandy, the son of Leroy and Marie Jackson, was born Oct. 4, 1946. He grew up in Kanawha and graduated from Kanawha High School. Sandy married Sandra Boucher and they eventually moved to California where he started his own construction company.

Sandy is survived by three children, Troy and his wife, Suzy, of Palmdale, Calif., Terry of Quartz Hill, Calif., and daughter, Tammy Jackson, of Clear Lake; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Marie Jackson, of Clear Lake; his brothers, Dan (Vicki) Jackson of Clear Lake, Kelly (Nelda) Jackson of Garner, Matt Jackson of Little Rock, Calif., Joseph (Kay) Jackson of New Baden, Ill.; and his sister, Maureen (Kevin) Kozisek, of Garner. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Charles, and son, Travis.
