A Graveside Service for Janice Flamme, 69, formerly of Greene, will be Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, Greene with Rev. Msgr. Walter Brunkan officiating.

Janice Eileen Flamme was born October 12, 1939, a daughter of Leo and Marvel Eileen (Wilder) Merfeld and died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at the Oelwein Health Care Center in Oelwein. She received her education in the public schools and graduated from Clarion High School. Later she attended Iowa Central Community College. Janice did secretarial work for a pet supply company. She was a devoted mother and will be greatly miss by her loving family and her friends.

Living family members include: a daughter, De Ann Sharkey of IL; three sons: Tom and Steve Bentley both of Oelwein, and Randy Bentley of Reno, Nevada; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Inez Louise Hepperle.
