Chester Hake, 65, a retired farmer, died Wednesday at the Belmond Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fulton Funeral Home. The Rev. M. L. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Born in Belmond, November 25, 1896, to David and Rachel [Cavanaugh] Hake, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles O. (Nell) Norris, Mason City. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
