LUVERNE, IA — Elmer Kubly, 93, of LuVerne died Wednesday (Dec. 3, 1997) at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Stephen J. Bibb officiating. Burial will be in the LuVerne Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home.

Elmer Kubly was born Sept. 27, 1904, on a farm north of Renwick. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor of LuVerne; two sons, Keith Kubly of Western Springs, Ill., and Dale Kubly of Chesterfield, Mo.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grand daughter and one sister.
