Loreen “Sandi” M. Pugh, 75, of Emerald Beach community in Golden, Mo., died Oct. 26, 2009. She was born Aug. 11, 1934, in Dows, Iowa, to Rudolph and Irene Wetzler Brinkman. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Lynn Kyger of Cassville, Mo.; one son, Richard Alan Pugh of Tinley Park, Ill.; a sister; two grandchildren. Memorial services will be at noon Nov. 9 at White Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo. Family will be receive friends at 11 a.m. Nov. 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local Animal Shelter or Humane Society.

Loreen (Sandi) M. Pugh, age 75, of Emerald Beach community in Golden, Missouri passed away on October 26, 2009. Loreen, the daughter of Rudolph and Irene (Wetzler) Brinkman, was born August 11, 1934 in Dows, Iowa. Her husband worked for the Canadian National Railroad which took the family to many different homes through out her life such as, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Seattle, Washington; Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Kansas City, Missouri. The family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa when she was 4 years old. She attended McKinley High School in Cedar Rapids & St. Lukes School of Radiology. She started her career in the medical field at an early age by working as a nursing assistant at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids at age of 12 . On October 16, 1955 she was united in marriage to Roy Richard Pugh. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1975. To this union were born Deborah Lynn Pugh (Kyger) of Cassville, Missouri and Richard Alan Pugh of Tinley Park, Illinois. She was a people person who genuinely cared for others. She was employed in the medical profession throughout her entire life. She dedicated 32 years in the medical field working with Dr. E.Y. Bickel. After retiring she then worked for Forest Hill Gift Shoppe in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Survivors include, one daughter, Deborah Lynn Kyger and her husband, Bob Kyger of Cassville, Missouri; one son, Richard Alan Pugh and his wife Kathy, of Tinley Park, Illinois; a sister, Judith A. Mahannah and her husband, Lyle Mahannah; two grandchildren, Sean Conlon and Kelly Lynn Conlon; a nephew Steven A. and Annette Mahannah; and a great niece, Kayla A. Mahannah.

Memorial Services will be held at White Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri on Monday, November 9, 2009 with Reverend Robert Webster officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Loreen to the local Animal Shelter or Humane Society.
