Nicholas Jay Pogge, infant son of Jay and Daphne Pogge of Corwith, was stillborn Monday (July 1, 1996) at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Kanawha Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Caroline Engelbrecht officiating. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery, Kanawha. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at the Ewing Funeral Home, Kanawha, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. He is survived by his parents, Jay and Daphne Pogge of Corwith; two sisters, Ashley and Lindsey, at home; maternal grandparents, Roger and Diane Omvig of Kanawha; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Joyce Pogge of Kanawha; maternal great-grandparents, Esther Walk of Kanawha and John Omvig of Kanawha; and paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Jennie Arends of Kanawha.
