KANAWHA, IA --Neva M. May, 103, died Friday (Oct. 18, 1996) at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ewing-Dugger Funeral Chapel, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. Neva M. May was born Feb. 5, 1893, in Sweetwater, Ill. Survivors include one daughter, Louise Smith Hoelscher of Kanawha; one son, Robert May of Kanawha; one brother, Loyel Hughes of California; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,husband, one son, two grandchildren, one brother, and four sisters.
