Rites Saturday at Eagle Grove

Osage, Iowa -- Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Juliana Miller, 87. She died Wednesday at Eagle Grove. She was formerly a resident of Osage. The Rev. Kenneth Torvik of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, will officiate and burial will be in Osage Cemetery. Born Juliana Cordes, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cordes of Watertown, Wis. She was married to Edwin C. Miller, owner and manager of the Osage Meat Market many years. They left Osage 15 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Larry St. John, Eagle Grove; Mrs. George Cummings, Cedar Falls; a son, Harold, Elkader; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children and 10 brothers and sisters.
