Funeral services were held at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church Wednesday for Leonard Martin Larson, 64, former resident of Eagle Grove. He died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wis. The Rev. Kenneth R. Torvik, pastor, was in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery with military rites. Larson was born Aug. 26, 1895 at Cambridge, to Thomas and Margaret Larson. Since 1903, he had lived on a farm south of Eagle Grove until December 1958, when he entered Veterans Hospital. He served in the army in World War I in France and Germany. He is survived by four brothers, Henry, Oscar and Edward, Eagle Grove; Raymond, Renwick, and six sisters: Miss Nell Larson, Los Angeles; Mrs. Severt Nervig, Eagle Grove; Mrs. Osia Thompson, Algona; Mrs. Louise Thompson, Eagle Grove; Miss Nora Larson, and Mrs. Hilda Olson, both of Los Angeles.
