Lyle Sisson, 90, of Pine Bluffs died Dec 13, 1997 in Kimball. He was born on April 15, 1907 at Galt, IA, to George H. and Orrie B. Sisson. His family moved to Wyoming when Lyle was two years old and homesteaded 12 miles south of Pine Bluffs for about 20 years. On March 30, 1935 he married Alma Constable. They moved to a farm four miles east of where his father homesteaded in Nebraska and stayed there for 42 years before selling their farm in 1977 and moving to Pine Bluffs. Lyle played the wash tub in the Rhythm Rustlers kitchen band. He enjoyed playing pool and fixing up and painting around his place and also for others.

Sisson is survived by four daughters Marylee Keogh, Newcastle, WY; Anetta Jones, Salem, OR; Margaret Ayres, Sacramento, CA; and Beverly Reher, Big Horn, WY; two brothers Calvin Sisson, Pine Bluffs, and Marvin Sisson, Kimball; sisters Irene Wiemken, Rock Falls, IL, Iva Bishop, Pine Bluffs, Verna Scott, Fairfield, CA, Mildred Decker, Mesa, AZ, and Louise Beach of Missouri: 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Alma, who passed away Oct 25, 1996; a son, David Lyle Sisson; brothers Clifford Sisson and George Sisson, sisters May Constable and Pearl Miller.

Services were Dec 17, 1997 at United Methodist Church in Pine Bluffs with the Reverend Terilynn Russ officiating. Burial was at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery. A memorial has been established and can be mailed to his daughter Marylee Keogh, 131 Cedar, Newcastle, WY 82701
