3 October 1919 -- 8 June 2009

Wallace "Wally" Earl Boldon age 89 passed away on June 8, 2009. Born on October 3, 1919 in Dows, Iowa. He grew up as an industrious, hard working farmer. Enlisted in the Navy during World War II and spent most of his time in the South Pacific and then preparing for the invasion of Japan. Married Mary Lois Robison, the love of his life, in December of 1943 and were very close and happy together for 55 years before she passed away in 1998. They moved to Salt Lake City, UT where dad found his way into the trades becoming a skilled carpenter and general contractor. He was well respected and loved by all of his fellow workers and his many friends and fishing buddies. Long time member of the Elks and the local carpenters union. Survived by son, James Boldon and daughter, Marlys Cloud, both of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sat. Jun. 13, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 S. where friends may call one hour prior to services.
