NELLIE BRAY, 86, DIES AT ELK RIVER

Nellie Josephine Bray, age 86, a resident of Elk River Minn. and a former resident of Spooner, passed away in Elk River on Monday, November 27. She was born on February 5, 1892 in Dows, Ia. On June 10, 1919 she was united in marriage to Grant Bray and they lived in the Spooner area most of their lives. In 1974 she moved to Elk River and had lived there since. She is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Hoppe, of Princeton, Minn.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Orlo Hagenson of Lake Mills, IA; and one sister, Wernent Myre of Forest City, IA. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Dahl Funeral Home. Rev. Veryl Schubert officiated. Burial was in the Earl Cemetery.
